BACK TO THE FUTURE: TUNNEL SCENE

What can I say about this scene, I think it’s one of everyones favorites. Then again, can you think of another film franchise with so many iconic scenes? Ok ok there are, but still! I hesitated for a while before making this scene as I had seen many people try to attempt it. I decided to do something a little different with mine by choosing to recreate a later moment in the scene, when Biff crashes his car in the manure truck…again. I also used a new technique for the first time on this one. Forced Perspective. The Delorean and Marty are 1:43rd scale, but the bottom portion of the miniature is 1:87th scale. Giving the view the impression that the delorean is higher up than it really is. The illusion works better in person than you might think.
