This kit includes the following items:

  • Miniature Working Screen Board - 32-bit processor, OLED screen, USB, and power circuitry.

  • A microSD card adapter along with an 8GB micro SD card.

  • Plug in speaker with pre-applied adhesive

  • 290 mAh Rechargeable Lithium Battery - Used to power your video player, and is recharged when the USB is plugged into the board.  A fully charged battery can play videos for up to 5 hours!

  • Free Downloadable Software to convert your videos to a working format for this board. The Miniature Working Screen kit will not work with standard video formats such as MOV, MP4 or AVI without this conversion tool.

HOW DOES IT WORK?

The unit is very simple! Once you receive your package you will find a card with a link for the software and instructions. All you have to do is use the software to convert your own video to the proprietary file format then transfer that file to the SD card. Turn the unit on and it will automatically play your video in a loop. For best results we recommend using videos that are 1080x720 in an MP4 format. Other than that its pretty much plug and play! Add it to your project and enjoy!

ADVANCED USES

Here are some tips on advanced uses with the device. Please note these methods and products have been tested and work however once you cut the wires to your unit we are no longer responsible for any issues or non functional units:

If you would like to not use a battery and have the unit plugged into to constant power with an external switch you can use a cable like this fro Amazon

Another slightly more advanced method is to take the battery and cut the wires (so that you still have the connector). You may extend and connect those wire to either a 3v (2AA) battery pack with integrated or a 5v power adaptor with built in switch like the ones below:
