The Drake Hotel

Back in October of 2022 I was commissioned to create the Drake Hotel in Toronto as a gift for a couple that had met there and went on to get married. Gift builds are always extra special. What I didn’t expect was that the Drake Hotel would reach out to me when they saw some of the work in progress photos from my Instagram account. This led to me delivering the mini-drake, as we’ve come to call it, to my client at the actual Drake hotel.

This is the first time in over ten years of doing this that I have delivered an item in person, and definitely the first time I deliver the item at the location it was inspired from. Seeing as I mostly recreate movie scenes, this is usually not even possible.
