MEL'S DRIVE-IN
This commission was created for a Model Railroad builder who wanted a vintage Drive-in. To come up with this look I combined with what I’ve seen in films, such as Grease and research online, I started my design. I decided to name my theater Mel’s Drive-in, from American Graffiti. The Drive-in features a drive-up concession stand, gravel ground, classic cars, a ticket booth and projection booth. The crown jewel of it all is the working projection screen.
